Duane Perkins has been with Zurich for 24 years and is currently the Global Head of Claims Excellence. Prior roles at Zurich include the Chief Claims Officer in Asia Pacific, CCO for the Middle East and Africa, Ad-Interim CCO roles in Hong Kong and Canada, and various other roles with Zurich North America. The Insurance Quality Assurance (IQA) Conference is designed for Quality Assurance (QA) professionals from insurance carriers and other key stakeholders in QA. This uniquely focused conference is designed to provide a collaborative environment for QA professionals with actionable insights and strategies. You will have the opportunity to learn and share ideas on the current and future state of QA for claims, underwriting, and other disciplines through interactive workshops and panel discussions.

2. Where is the conference?

The conference will be held at the Hilton DC National Mall Hotel in Washington, DC. The hotel is centrally located and near many of the city’s best attractions, restaurants and entertainment. View the hotel website.

3. What time does the conference begin and end?

On-site check-in opens Monday, October 21st at 1:00 pm and closes at 7:00 pm. IQA check-in resumes at 7:00 am on Tuesday, October 22 before the conference kick-off. The first IQA session officially begins at 9:00 am on Tuesday. The conference ends on Wednesday evening, October 23rd. teamthink QA customers are invited to attend an optional training session on Thursday morning, October 24. 4. Who should attend?

IQA is open to all quality assurance (QA) professionals and leadership from carriers and insurtech companies. While a majority of content may focus on Claims QA topics, Underwriting QA professionals are also encouraged to attend.

5. How much is the conference?

The cost to attend the conference for both days is $750 per person if you register during the early-bird period. Includes breakfast and lunch both days of the conference and dinner on Tuesday night. The optional networking events are included. Bring several members of your team to receive a group discount of $700 per person. Please Note: The registration cost does not include the price of hotel rooms at the Hilton DC National Mall, which are $299 plus tax and fees.

7. Is there a discounted room block for the conference?

Yes, you can either sign up for the room block with your registration or call the Hilton DC National Mall and mention the ‘IQA 2019‘ room block upon booking.
