Bill’s experience leading information businesses ranges from billion-dollar enterprises to high-tech startups. A Harvard Law graduate and former insurance defense attorney, Bill was president and CEO of the LexisNexis corporate and federal markets in the U.S. and served as the chief global product officer for LexisNexis worldwide. Bill also served as president of Gartner, the IT research and advisory services firm.

He formerly led marketing for The Washington Post, worked as a journalist with The Associated Press and practiced law in Washington, D.C. Bill co-founded Weather Analytics with Beverly Parker and served as its chairman and CEO until the acquisition of Athenium, Inc. He is chairman and CEO of the combined company.

Jordan Foley has extensive leadership experience in delivering technology-driven business services and solutions, providing outstanding client service and driving profitable revenue growth. He was one of the first employees of Weather Analytics, where he developed data-powered solutions relating to upper-atmospheric wind analyses for the U.S. intelligence community. Since then, he has served a wide portfolio of company functions, including managing the company’s largest strategic accounts, leading operations and driving product maturity and development. Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Dr. Ellen Cousins joined Weather Analytics in 2014 following a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, where her research focused on applying data mining and machine-learning techniques to extract information from in situ and remotely-sensed atmospheric observations. Ellen holds a BA and PhD from Dartmouth College, with concentrations in space physics and electrical engineering/instrumentation. She earned NASA’s Space Grant Graduate Research Award for research in her field.

Beverly Parker has led multi-million-dollar enterprises, start-ups and turnarounds. Her broad-ranging experience includes a 22-year tenure with LexisNexis, co-founding its risk solutions business. She also served as a partner at Voyant Partners, an investment and advisory services firm; senior vice president of global sales and customer support for MarketResearch.com; and co-founder of Qbase LLC. In 2012, she and Bill Pardue founded Weather Analytics LLC, which acquired Athenium, Inc. in 2018.
